Often considered one of the most influential and inspiring works of the Church, this classic yet relevant text was written by Doctor of the Church St. Thérèse of Lisieux and details her life and love for the Lord in spite of trial and illness. Through the years, it has remained a key reflection on the spiritual life for believers who seek to love God with all their hearts.
Exploring topics that St. Thérèse learned throughout her life, Story of a Soul teaches Catholics how to embrace their spiritual “littleness” as a quick path to heaven, how to live their call to love, and how to choose God in the midst of great suffering.

I was encouraged to go to the faith study during confession. I was searching for a safe space to discuss my faith and literature about the faith. I am a mom of two young children, and my fluctuating schedule doesn’t always allow me to come to every session. The group always warmly welcomes me when my schedule allows me to attend. I love the books that have been chosen so far, and I look forward to more thought provoking books. It is a safe space with a lot of laughter and love. It fills my cup!

This is my first bible study group and I cannot begin to express the blessings I have received from this group. I am learning so much about my faith by listening to my peers and by actively doing my readings and my “homework” weekly. I am closer to God now than I have ever been. I look forward to every Thursday, and leave each meeting grateful that I can share my journey with my peers. The group is inspirational and so knowledgeable. Thank you to the leadership of the group and for all the love brought to us every week.

This study truly opened my eyes to the humility I must have in my life. We can easily take for granted all the blessings we have around us. Our world can be so tangible. I was thankful to be a part of this study and a part of a group of women I can connect with in my Catholic Faith. I welcome these women who will pray for me and my family and give me the opportunity to grow in my Catholic Faith in a joyful setting.

“Being a part of this group of faith-filled women has helped to strengthen my own faith! I enjoy not only discussing the content of each of our books, but also diving into how the subject matter relates to our everyday lives. The insights my fellow members share never fail to help solidify my own convictions to live my life according to my Catholic faith.”
