• Car Donations – Do you have a used car, truck, or boat – running or not? SVdP has a car donation program. Proceeds will directly benefit SVdP of St. Ann’s Parish. You’ll receive the maximum allowable tax deduction, in accordance with IRS guidelines. Open to anyone in need of a meal and some company.  The Family Cafe is open Thursday evenings from 4:30 to 7:00pm. Directions: Take Broadway (Route 138) to East Britannia Street. Turn west toward the Dunkin’ Donuts store. Cross Washington St. and then turn right on Bay Street. Go less than two blocks. The Meal Center is on the left, just past St. John’s Episcopal Church.

At the stoplight, turn left onto Carver Street, which becomes Field Street. Follow Field Street to the end, and turn right onto Bay Street. Church will be on your left.

• Raynham Food Basket 494 Church Street, Raynham - 508-823-1104 Second and Fourth Thursdays – 9:00am - 11:00am Families may receive food once a month(Families of 5 or more may receive food twice a month) First visit – must provide a photocopy of a currently dated bill / statement for the records. Must show a government-issued photo ID and a currently dated bill / statement addressed to the recipient at their Raynham address each time you come. Directions: Take Route 44 east toward the Cape. Pass the Wal-Mart stoplight, and at the next stoplight (1 1/2 miles) turn right on Church Street. Less than a half mile down Church Street, look for a white church on the right. The food pantry is just past the church in a small white building.

Families may receive food twice a month. Registration with picture ID and a receipt/bill with address required. Directions: Take Broadway/Route 138 south toward Taunton. Pass the light at Purchase Street and the blinking light at Cumberland Farms. Almost to the center of Taunton, there is a stoplight at St. Mary’s Church. Make a left turn onto Washington Street. The Center is less than a tenth of a mile on the right at Washburn Street. Look for a thrift store called Pennies from Heaven. The distribution center door is down from the corner on Washburn.

Winter moratorium on shut-off of heating source from November 15 - March 15
You may negotiate a payment plan if you are behind on your bill. If you make a plan, be sure to stick with the agreement or shut-off will be imminent. Continue to pay at least a percentage of your bill every month – even if you can’t pay the whole bill. The utility company may see that as a good faith effort and may be less hasty to shut off service. It also avoids large bills at the end of the season.
